“保持整体的稳定性、强化命题的科学性、突出内容的人文性、凸显语言的灵活性”是今年英语试题的主要特点。纵观的英语试题，我们不难发现在试题结构、测试重点、命题风格、整体难度几个方面坚持了2013年新课改以来四川英语卷的特点，试题整体稳定，有较强的连续性。

科学性是高质量试题的首要指标，今年的试题在科学性上又有新的提升。主要体现在以下几个方面：一是测试目的明确，能力考查全面，确保了试卷的建构效度。基于结构主义语言学的分离性测试观点的单项填空，一题一个考点，覆盖了中学阶段的英语语法重点。完形填空以考查语篇理解为核心，设空科学，涉及句内、句际和篇章的考点分布合理；设空较好地体现了人与动物关系不断发展的动态过程。阅读理解题全面覆盖了考试大纲规定的六个方面的能力。补全对话题对考生话语逻辑能力的考查很清楚；阅读表达在测试考生用自己的话准确表达所理解意义的能力方面很到位。书面表达话题为中学生熟悉，让他们有话可写，有发挥的空间，能够较好地呈现他们的写作能力。二是无考试陷阱、无人为设置的障碍，问题清楚简洁，有利于考生充分发挥出其语言水平，这是高效度的又一个重要保证。三是在测试任务真实性方面有进一步提升。如阅读理解的第一篇源于目的语国家的真实语言材料，图文并茂、语言生动。阅读理解文章有短有长，短的仅90余词，长的超过400词。突破了5篇文章篇幅几乎相当的传统，同实际的阅读更加接近。短文改错题考查学生同侪校阅能力，所设置的错误都是同学们在平日写作中常出现的问题。此外，试题难易分布合理，难度适中，互动性强。试题科学性的主要要素都得到了很好的诠释。

工具性与人文性是语言的两个基本属性，试题在强调用语言做事的工具性特点的同时，突出了材料内容的人文性。“完形填空”的材料内容为人与动物的和谐相处，会给考生留下深刻印象。阅读理解第一篇是生日聚会的邀请函，显示出浓浓的亲情、友情；第二篇描写伤病后的父亲在自己的小农场辛勤劳作、乐观生活的轶事，体现了热爱生活的乐观主义精神；第三篇对母亲劳动价值评价的研究；第四篇对鸟儿在闹市区鸣叫习惯变化现象的研究；第五篇对埃及金字塔石料移动方法的实验。这些关于社会、人与自然、人文历史的内容，加上阅读表达爱书男孩的故事，都突出了内容的人文性。这些内容对考生能起到很好的陶冶作用，对中学英语教学也能够起到良好的引导作用。

　消失了＂长＂达一年之久的高考听力在饱受争议后终于回归，分值保持不变(30分)。题型依旧由短对话，长对话和独白三类题目组成。听力考点依然会围绕着数字、地点、推断、主题内容等展开。

　变化二：基础题型变化巨大——语法
